wcfsymphony concert: From Havana to the Arabian Nights

Whether you are a regular symphony patron, a novice to classical music, teacher, piano student or lover of all types of music, you won’t want to miss this breathtaking season opener!

The concert opens our year-long tribute to female composers with Florence Price’s stirring Concert Overture #1, followed by George Gershwin’s beloved Rhapsody in Blue. The excitement continues with an exotic tribute to the Arabian Nights in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade.
